Jenson USA Customer, Henrique, and his SB-6C XX1 Pro Build have officially joined the Yeti Tribe.

When Yeti’s new Switch Infinity suspension system hit the scene, questions were undoubtedly raised, as they naturally are when something previously unseen comes about. Turns out, this Switch Infinity doo-hickey was something that rowdy trail riders everywhere wanted to get their hands on. When you pair its “infinite” length, motion-transferring pivots, and plush Kashima-coated stanchions with Yeti’s SB-6C frame, you get a sort of Super Bike that combines the best of both worlds. A ride that’s as much for boisterous trail adventures with the gang, as it is for hard-nosed downhill riders looking for a more ‘Enduro’ riding style.

Yeti’s Switch Infinity Suspension System

It’s no wonder this was the drool-worthy, choice bike for Jenson USA customer, Henrique. Now, we realize Henrique’s Yeti SB-6C isn’t technically custom. That’s because Yeti beat him to the punch and assembled a dream build right out of the box.  When you put it under a microscope you’ll be quick to notice that this XX1 build leaves little to the imagination.

Why We Lust for this Yeti SB-6C

SRAM XX1 Drivetrain

The XX1 Pro build is one of the best off-the-shelf component groups that money can buy. Decked out with SRAM’s crown jewel 1×11 group, the XX1 build performs better and weighs less than any other 11-speed drivetrain, while still offering a wide gear-range thanks to the 10-42T X-Dome cassette. The XX1 cranks feature full carbon arms and a removable spider (much like the X0 cranks), along with SRAM’s new X-Sync tooth profile which acts as a built in chain guide system. The rear derailleur’s X-Horizon design eliminates any vertical movement which reduces shift forces and prevents “ghost shifting”.

Shimano XTR Brakes

As your eyes shift elsewhere on the this beauty, you’ll find Shimano XTR Trail hydraulic disc brakes providing the stopping power, a Fox Float 36 160mm Factory fork gracing the front-end, a Thomson Covert Dropper seatpost for adaptability, and an Easton Havoc carbon cockpit to maintain control. Now what would this perfectly arranged build be without augmenting it with one of the fastest pair of legs on the market? Keeping the no-holds-barred character of the XX1 SB-6C, Yeti turned to the masterminds at ENVE Composites to supply a set of their U.S. Made, big mountain-worthy, 1,710.4 gram, M70 Thirty carbon fiber stunners. Well played Yeti!

Fox Float 36 160mm Factory Fork

It’s safe to say the SB-6C’s XX1 entirety brings the most sought after technologies in the form of a complete bike that can go up or down the hill in a hurry. Slap some seductive green paint on it, and you’ve got one looker of a bike that’ll surely turn heads while it unleashes the shred.
