M-length vans (L1) are 350mm smaller than the XL (L2) models; their overall length is 4403mm rather than the L2 vans 4753mm length. Twin side doors are standard on the XL vans, while a single nearside door is fitted to the smaller M version. All vans get double rear doors as standard.
Are Berlingos any good?
The Berlingo is a basic vehicle but very flexible in that it can be used as a fairly comfortable car or a quite spacious van. The version I have has some computerisation but the controls are mechanical. It is inexpensive to run, and has been extremely reliable.
