A highlight of one of our employees, the bike they ride and what kind of riding they most associate with, etc. (employee first, product second
When the rain (snow) and cold descend on the paths, roads, and trails that you love to ride, it can be hard to find suitable to conditions to crank out your daily miles. Fear not! Rollers can help you rack up the miles while perfect your form and fitness. They are also great for pre-race warm ups. Kreitler has helped us put together a quick tutorial on how and why to incorporate roller training into your cycling life.
It's bike show season, and many of us have some hopes for what companies will be releasing for 2018. These new products can range from evolutionary to revolutionary. Click inside to see one of the hopeful announcements that is making it onto my wishlist for the gravel bike 1x drivetrain category from SRAM.
Most advancements in the bike world are an evolution of design and technology that has proved itself in the past.
It's not often, that a company starts with a completely blank slate, and crafts their dream of the latest and greatest.
Orbea has done just that with the completely new, and radically different, successor to the Rallon namesake.
We got one of the first Rallon bikes to hit North America, and we put it through the wringer to give you our first look at this big-wheeled ripper with Spanish flavor. EUSKADURO!!!
We share a passion for bikes that started before we began working in the cycling industry. It's that same love for bikes that drives us to help build a growing and sustainable cycling community. We believe that trail work is a major factor in sustaining and expanding our MTB community, so we’ve decided to put our hands to action, and reclaim the Skyline Loop Trail in Riverside, CA. Read on to learn more.
Given the choice, we’d always prefer to ride without a backpack. But no one wants to be 'that guy' who needs to borrow tools, or be left walking home while your friends enjoy the rest of the ride. OneUp Components wanted a solution that would allow us to carry the tools that we need for every ride, without wearing a backpack. Check out the Everyday Carry tool system.
SRAM’s Eagle drivetrains have evolved the 1x movement from the realm of tinkerers to the forefront of component tech. The addition of the GX Eagle group brings 1×12 range and performance in a package that is functional, aesthetically pleasing, and very reasonably priced. We put SRAM’s GX Eagle group on a bike that we are very familiar with, and put it under the feet of 2 different riders to get their take on the latest kit. Read the tech and stats inside, then continue on to see our employee reviews.
Intense Bikes helped to define a new era of mountain biking with the introduction of the original Tracer. Almost 20 years later, Intense is launching their latest version of the Tracer, and it is still defining how capable and efficient a long travel all mountain bike can be. We got our hands on a test bike, and gave it a good flogging. See what we thought of this latest iteration of a legend.
Niner Bikes has finally brought all that we've come to love about the steel and aluminum RLT 9 frames, and packaged it into a svelte RDO carbon build with some tweaking of geometry to make this bike earn its Race Day Optimized badge. Jump in and take a deeper look at how this frame expands the horizons of the already vastly adventurous RLT 9 family.
Outerbike continues to be one of our favorite events to attend each year. The setting of Moab for testing products, and meeting customers and bike industry legends is hard to beat. We setup a photo zone to capture our customers' ride moments so they could take in the whole experience. Check out the photos and grab yours to decorate your wall, and share InstaChatFace.
Deep in the serene and isolated mountains of Sun Valley is Idaho’s best gravel cycling event. Ketchum, ID is home to the Wood River, the Copper Basin's towering peaks and rolling grasslands, a regular wild west with purple mountains majesty. It's home to skiing in the winter, and biking in the summer with over 400 miles of singletrack, and every year for the past 4 years it has been the home to Rebecca’s Private Idaho, a 100 mile (or 50 mile) gravel biking/race event that is a test of strength and a show of beauty for cyclists who want to enjoy the ride as much as they push themselves to perform.
