Question: Can I drive after VNG test?

Most of our patients feel just fine to drive after testing. However, if your present symptoms are severe, its not a bad idea to have someone drive you. Are there after effects or side effects after a VNG? These may temporarily make you feel worse after a VNG test.

Can you drive after a balance test?

You will be scheduled for several tests which will evaluate your inner ear balance control mechanism. These are painless tests which involve no needles. The tests may make you slightly dizzy, but should this occur, it will only last several minutes. You should be able to drive following the tests.
